VP STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS
Marie is Campbell’s VP of Strategic Communications and directs several of the agency’s key accounts. She develops annual communications plans and manages teams of internal and external PR and digital pros to generate high-impact online and print results. She is a content marketing and strategy expert with digital media expertise. Marie’s industry experience spans the market research industry, craft beer, food and beverage, travel and tourism and more.
A master of the written word, she is also a trusted advisor to C-suite client executives, advising them on speaking engagements and white papers. Marie has deep relationships with media and bloggers in a variety of industries and she’s the one media turn to for industry insights and client access. This all translates to timely and on-target visibility for Campbell’s clients, including features and mentions in the Wall Street Journal, NY Times, USA Today, Men’s Journal, Esquire, O, the Oprah magazine, top industry trade journals and more.
Marie earned her B.A. in Public Relations and English from University of Oregon and an M.A. in English from Portland State University. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America. A 6th-generation Oregonian, she traces her roots to the Oregon Trail. She enjoys getting outside with her husband and son, mountain biking and hiking in the summer and snowboarding and Nordic skiing in the winter. A long-time animal welfare advocate, she loves being involved with organizations that make a difference in the lives of all creatures. She enjoys spending time with her husband, son and a pack of rescued dogs.
